Sullivan's Dedication

Sunday was a really special day in more than one way. It was Mother's Day, which is really neat to have a day dedicated just to mothers. Now that I am one, it's quite sentimental for me, and it also makes me appreciate my own mother and mother-in-law in new ways. I truly feel so honored to be called "mother" (or, in my case, "mom" or "mommy") :)

Sunday was also special because we dedicated Sullivan at church! It was so neat having our whole little family up there dedicating that we are going to raise our son in every way that we can to love the Lord. I get a little teary even looking at these pictures - looking at our 2 sons that God has placed in our lives. What incredible little (huge) blessings they are.
And they're pretty handsome little guys if I do say so myself :)
So, I have absolutely nothing good to say about our camera...I could think of lots of bad things to say about it, but I'll refrain for this family-friendly blog. Regardless of how pixel-y this picture is, I still cherish it.
Sullivan being prayed over, and Oliver telling Seth, "Daddy, I have to go pee" :) Ah, the joys of an almost 3-year old! He did successfully "hold it" until after the dedication was over.
And here is a .jpg of the slide that was up on the big screen when we went up on stage. The spiritual meaning of Sullivan is "deep wisdom" (which I LOVE), and Ephesians 1:17-18a are the verses we chose for him. Love what they did with the slide. What a special, memorable day it was!!
