Fellowship Staff Shower

Some sweet ladies at church hosted an All-Staff shower for us on Wednesday, and it was so much fun! It was for guys and girls, and they made it easy for the guys by putting on the invitation for guys to just bring diapers and girls to bring the normal "shower gifts". We got lots of diapers, which will be a HUGE help when Oliver gets here. They did such a great job of decorating...you can kind of see from the pictures what the room looked like. (If you click on the picture, it should enlarge so you can see it better.) We felt so blessed and loved by the wonderful people we get to work with! Everyone is so excited to have Oliver here...he's going to be a popular little guy. :)

Only 4 more weeks until he's due to arrive!!

5 Weeks to Go!

Mommy was in the office the other day on the computer, and she looked around her and couldn't find Bella. When she turned around, this is what she saw...Bella was laying down resting in my room! She likes my room already, and Mommy thinks she'll like it even more once I start living there. As you can tell in this picture, I am getting very big inside Mommy's tummy. There's not much room for me to move around in there, so I like to play in her ribs and her hips and pretend like I'm going to kick and wiggle my way through her tummy! Dad gets a kick out of it...I think I surprise him sometimes with all my wiggles.
Some people don't approve of kissing dogs. Not in our family...we love Bella just as much as if she were a person! Mommy likes loving on Bella, and Bella likes to give sweet kisses to Mommy and Daddy. I have a feeling she's gonna like giving me kisses too!
Bella likes to stand on me to get close to Mommy's face...I don't know what she's going to do when I'm not in that tummy anymore...no more big belly to stand on! (Mommy says she's pretty excited about that...something about being able to bend over again...) Only 5 more weeks!

My Bookshelf (written by Oliver)

This is my new bookshelf all decorated! Mommy and Daddy got really motivated yesterday and cleaned my room all up, did some of my laundary, and decorated my bookshelf. Didn't they do a great job? Dad thought it would be neat to give me some playmates, so he made all of the stuffed animals on the bookshelf look like they are playing with the blocks! What a smart and creative Daddy. Mommy hopes I get his creative side. There are still a few things that need to be gotten for my room before I decide to come live in it, but I think it's looking pretty neat so far. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna like living in there.

Girls' Shower

We had another FUN shower last weekend! My sweet community group girls threw a great party...yummy food, beautiful decorations, fun games...they made it so special! The above picture is of the 4 hostesses and myself: Kara, Shara, me, Sarah, and Robin. (Kara is pregnant too...due 3 months after me, and also with a boy!!)
This picture is of me smelling the baby food trying to figure out which one it is...one of the fun games we played. By the look of my face, I'm guessing it was a bad one...the chicken noodle soup was one of the worst smelling ones. I think Oliver told me he doesn't like chicken noodle soup baby food :)
Here are our cute husbands who went to play golf during the shower. They got rained out on the 13th hole and had to come home early (no worries, the shower was already over). These are the husbands of the hostesses (except for Chad, husband of Shara, who couldn't be there). L to R: Seth, Tim, Bryan, and Jeff. What a good looking group of guys!
And this is one of the neat gifts I got. There are six of them altogether, and they are burp cloths, made out of cloth diapers, and they are all monogramed with Oliver's name and initials on them. They are so cute! Most of them are his initials, and then there is one that says "Oliver" with feet below his name, but this one is my favorite...I love seeing his name "Oliver Primm" written out. What a great name! I think it flows nicely :)

Thanks to all my sweet friends for such a wonderful time!!
