Snow and Snuggles

Well, we woke up to about 4 inches of snow this morning! I know James and Karyn are going to be so sad they missed it :( Rest assured, though, because Norah is having great fun in the snow! She and Bella weren't quite sure about it at first, but they got to exploring and romped around in the yard. I think they like it! Then we had some nice snuggle time in bed. Now Jeff and Seth are painting Oliver's room, and it's looking so great! Pictures of that are yet to come...

Oh Boy

You can't really tell, but that's what my shirt says..."oh boy." It's pretty cute, and I like it cause it let's people know we're having a boy without them having to ask. Although they usually ask anyway..."is your shirt indicative of what you're having?"...oh well, I guess people just like talking about it. I don't mind :) Well, as you can tell, my belly continues to grow. I'm in my 27th week, which is the first week of the third trimester...I can't believe it. The end is drawing nigh. As crazy as this might sound, it all still feels surreal. I'm not sure it will ever feel real. I still can't imagine childbirth, and I don't know what would make it feel more real than just doing it. I have a feeling I'll be just taking this all as it comes, one step at a time.

Seth and some friends are painting Oliver's room this weekend, and it will be so much fun to have that finished! That way we can start setting up as we get things for him...maybe the more we set up his room the more real it will feel that we will have a child in our house (and not just any child...our own baby boy that God helped Seth and I create...holy cow) in just 3 short months.

Well, it is far past my bedtime, so I must close for now. We'll write again soon.
